Deltarune Update

A few years after the release of the first chapter of what is effectively Undertale 2, the much-awaited Deltarune Chapter 2 is finally available. The creator also asserts that Deltarune Chapter 3 will finish the game. One of the most well-known and cherished RPGs of all time, Undertale’s unexpected semi-sequel from its developer Toby Fox debuted in 2018, and fans were happy to see it. The first chapter was well-received and had the trademark rambling comedy of the original game.

Major Updates

Fox has since sometimes given updates, including new songs. Still, the abrupt release of Deltarune Part 2 surprised many. Deltarune is no longer a one-person game, and Fox expressed his opinions on the release on the Deltarune website. He thanked the other devs and referred to it as the most significant chapter in the entire game.
The third chapter of Deltarune is also briefly mentioned in the update. Fox claims that he would grow the crew a bit but that once the chapters are finished, no more will be issued.

Latest news from the developer

The creator of Deltarune also said that he and a small crew are simultaneously working on the third, fourth, and fifth chapters. They were joined by a few more people, accelerating the change process.
The third and fourth chapters receive most of the work, and Toby adds that the assault patterns, cutscenes, and bad jokes exceed his expectations. Additionally, specific future chapter elements took a lot of labor to build, but soon everything will run smoothly.
As Toby previously said, the most recent development update shouldn’t be a huge surprise because the intention was to release chapters 3, 4, and 5 all at once. At this point, users will need to buy the complete game, though.
